DENIS KEOHANE is a long-time Milton resident, a father, a business owner and a community leader with a deep passion for preserving and improving the town we all call home.

 

Denis arrived in this great country in 1988 from Ireland at the age of 21 with $1,000 and a dream. Through sheer hard work, persistence and determination, he built the Keohane Company Ltd, a successful real estate development and management firm that has completed over 1,300 residential and commercial transactions across Massachusetts. His philosophy in life and in business has always been the same: act with purpose, build with care, and serve with heart.

 

For 31 years, Denis and his wife Mary have called Milton home—and loved every minute of it. Together, they raised their three daughters here, all who attended Milton’s public schools, played local sports and grew up with a strong sense of community. Milton is not just where Denis lives, it’s where he and his family belong.

 

But Denis’s greatest achievements outside of business and family are in public service and community connection. He currently serves as a town meeting member, is a former member of the Milton School Committee and a former member of the Milton Select Board, including serving as Chair, always focused on responsible leadership and delivering results. Today, he continues his service in the community as a member of the Board of Advisors at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital – Milton, helping support local health and wellness.

 

Now, Denis is stepping up again—this time to ensure that Milton’s growth is driven by vision, not pressure. That planning is smart, not reactive, and that the next generation will have a real future here.
